HIGHLIGHTS
Tiffany Matthews went 3-for-3 and hit a go-ahead two-run triple in the fourth inning of top-seeded Long Island Lutheran's 9-7 win over No. 3 Portledge in the PSAA softball championship game on Friday. Matthews also struck out 10 in a complete game. Kaitlyn Lozano hit a grand slam and McKenzie Patterson went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for LuHi (6-1). Leia Dominicci went 3-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored and Delila Cody went 2-for-4 with three RBIs for Portledge (5-5).
