New Hyde Park 3, South Side 2: Geena Fornataro singled in Lisa Pellegrino in the bottom of the ninth inning to lead New Hyde Park (3-4) in a Conference A-I/II crossover. Pellegrino had led off the ninth inning with a triple. Fornataro went 3-for-4 and pitched five innings in relief, allowing one hit and no runs, to pick up the win. Starter Jessica Vadala started the game and allowed two hits and had eight strikeouts in four innings.
