Seaford 9, Plainedge 4: Rylie Betz went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run and struck out six in a complete game to lead No. 1 Seaford in a clinching Game 2 win over No. 4 Plainedge in the Nassau Class A semifinals. Lauren LoPresti and Emma Masie each went 2-for-3. Shannon McClernon went 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs. Seaford (14-7) will face No. 3 in the first of a three-game final series at 7:30 p.m. on May 29 at Farmingdale State. Plainedge finished 12-8.
