HIGHLIGHTS
Sachem North 6, Northport 5: Danielle Brennan induced a flyout to centerfield with two outs and two runners on in the top of the seventh to end a win for No. 2 Sachem North over No. 9 Northport in a Suffolk Class AAA elimination game. Brennan struck out seven in a complete game and went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Hayley Moore went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs. Nyobi Cotto-Moreno went 2-for-2 with an RBI, a sacrifice fly and a run scored. Sachem North (19-5) will face the loser of No. 1 Commack and No. 3 Riverhead in an elimination game at 4 p.m. Friday. Addison Acerra went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored for Northport, which finished 17-7.
