Her hit, along with other seventh-inning hits from Alexis Fontana, Gabrielle Belloocco and Abby Long, helped Plainedge (5-3) tie the game in the bottom of the inning. Long finished with three hits. Fontana earned the win, allowing four hits and zero runs over 4 1/3 innings with nine strikeouts and zero walks. Moore started the game, allowing eight hits, eight runs (three earned) over 3 2/3 innings. She had five strikeouts and walked two. The Red Devils finished with 15 hits, with Moore, Kayla Gately and MaryRose Varrichio all boasting multi-hit games. West Islip drops to 5-4.
