HIGHLIGHTS
East Islip 12, Comsewogue/Port Jefferson 0: Cate Ropiak and Alyssa Corso combined to throw a complete game no-hitter to lead East Islip in its Suffolk IV opener. Ropiak threw the first five innings and struck out seven, while Corso finished the final two and whiffed four. Sophia Corso and Marisa Renganeschi hit their first varsity home runs. Lexi Kneisel added a home run as well. Renganeschi had two hits and scored four runs. Kneisel went 2-for-3 with three runs scored. Kayla Varga and Sophia Corso each had two hits.
