Valley Stream Central 9, Herricks 2: Tiffany Longarzo went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer, two singles, three RBIs and three runs scored for Valley Stream Central (2-1) in its Conference AA-III win. Nia Outlaw finished 2-for-3 with a solo homer. Longarzo and Outlaw went back-to-back in the home run department in the bottom of the sixth inning to cap the Eagles' three-run sixth for the game's final margin. Randy Ruderman went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and two RBIs.
