Bethpage vs Calhoun

Calhoun 2, Bethpage 1: Johanna Esposito went 2-for-3 and drove in Gia Pisicchio on a go-ahead RBI triple in the bottom of the sixth inning and struck out nine while allowing an unearned run on four hits to lead No. 1 Calhoun over No. 8 Bethpage in the Nassau Class AA quarterfinals. Pisicchio drove in Gianna Haniff for the tying run earlier in the sixth. Calhoun (10-8) will host No. 4 MacArthur in the first of a three-game semifinal series on Saturday. Rylee Petruskie allowed two runs of four hits for Bethpage, which finished 12-5.
