HIGHLIGHTS
Syosset 7, Hicksville 2: Danielle Zurek pitched a one-hitter with no walks and 11 strikeouts to lead Syosset (1-0) in AA-II. Zurek carried a perfect game into the seventh but it was broken up on a one-out error and Hicksville's Alex Gaudelli followed with a two-run homer. Caroline Seibert went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and a run for the Braves.
