Sydney Schaaf took a walk and stole second before scoring the game-tying run off a single by Ana Vargas in the eighth inning. Erin Wolfe pitched a complete eight-inning game, allowing three earned runs on 12 hits with five strikeouts and two walks. Emily Wolfe went 2-for-3 with a double, a triple, a walk and a run scored. Bay Shore overcame a one-run deficit in the seventh inning thanks to Kiramya Cabrera's two-out RBI double to centerfield. Nina Vandernoth allowed five earned runs on seven hits with seven walks and 12 strikeouts for North Babylon (6-1). Megan Wegel kept the Bulldogs alive by throwing out what would have been the game-winning run.
