Wantagh 12, North Shore 11: Angela Burth hit a two-out triple to drive in Julie Van O'Linda in the top of the seventh to provide the go-ahead run for Wantagh (1-1), which clawed back from an eight run deficit in league. Kristen Wilson hit a three-RBI triple with one out in a six-run sixth inning for the Warriors. Wilson went 3-for-5 with two triples and a single, with four RBIs. Burth went 4-for-5 with three triples and Haley Monahan went 3-for-5 with three runs.
