Islip 10, Glenn 0: Vanessa Juengerkes threw a no-hitter in a five-inning, run-ruled game. She struck out nine of her 16 batters faced. The only runner reached on an error in the fourth inning. It was the senior's first career no-hitter. She has been on the varsity since freshman year, coach Dennis McSweeney said. Micky Sciara's bases-clearing double in the fourth gave Islip a 7-0 lead. Taylor Larson went 2-for-3 with four RBI. Islip is 1-0 in League IV.
