HIGHLIGHTS
Half Hollow Hills 5, Commack 4: Mikaila Correa hit a triple to score the winning run in the top of the seventh to lead Half Hollow Hills (7-9) over Commack (12-4) in Suffolk I. Jesse Rooney hit a two-RBI single to put Half Hollow Hills up 3-1 in the top of the sixth. Commack answered back with back-to-back homers from Kayla O'Boyle and Rachel Abzug, a two-run home run and solo home run, respectively, to go up 4-3. After Half Hollow Hills lead-off batter Gale Kurland bunted for a hit, Ava Blasi hit a double to score her to tie the game 4-4, which would set up Correa to drive her in with her triple. Marissa Wilbert went 2-for-3 with a run and two doubles, Emma Meenan went 2-for-4 with a run and a double and Blasi went 2-for-4 with a run, a double and an RBI for Half Hollow Hills.
