Commack 10, Lindenhurst 1: Claire Varghese (2-for-3) hit a bases loaded triple in the bottom of the second as part of a seven run inning that helped lead No. 8 Commack over No. 2 Lindenhurst in the Suffolk AA elimination bracket. Michelle DeFina (2-for-4) capped the scoring with a two run triple. Julie Park (3-for-4), Jillian Helmes (2-for-4), and Kayla O'Boyle (2-for-3) also had multiple hits in the game. Commack (16-8) will face No. 3 Sachem North at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the next round.
