Mepham 9, Plainedge 0: Giselle DeLutri tossed a five-hitter and added an RBI as No. 2 Mepham defeated No. 6 Plainedge in a winner-take-all Game 3 Nassau Class A semifinal. Alanna Morse went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBIs, and two runs scored and Lily Yepez went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a stolen base. Mepham (16-4) plays No. 5 Calhoun in a best-of-three Nassau Class A final with Game 1 set for Friday at 4:30 p.m. at Mitchel Field.
