Bay Shore 8, West Islip 7: Caroline Hobbes and Julia Carpenter each went 4-for-4 to lead No. 7 Bay Shore over No. 4 West Islip in the first game of the Suffolk AA finals. Hobbes hit a solo home run in the top of the third. Carpenter had a two-RBI triple in the seventh. Tiffany Mendez went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Deanna Ebert earned the win, striking out nine.
