HIGHLIGHTS
Long Beach 4, Division 3: Elaina Kassap's two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning gave No. 8 Long Beach a 4-3 lead over No. 1 Division in a Nassau Class A quarterfinal. Division took an early 2-1 lead on home runs by Alyssa Weinberg and Mackenzie Quinn but Long beach tied the score at 2 in the top of the fifth inning when Kassap singled and Kate Erickson doubled her home. In the bottom of the sixth, Jordyn Passqueralli tripled and scored on a sacrifice fly by Nicole Bowe to give Division a 3-2 lead. Weinberg allowed eight hits while striking out 14 for Division. Alex Hastings allowed four hits while striking out six for Long Beach.
