HIGHLIGHTS
Carle Place 21, Lynbrook 9: Nicole Shaw pitched a 6-inning complete game surrendering six hits while striking out 7 to lead Carle Place. Valentina Lula had a three-run home run in the second inning and a solo shot in the fourth to help put Carle Place ahead 7-1. Lynbrook scored eight runs in the top of the fifth to take a 9-7 lead. Lauren Siciliano's three-run homer capped the scoring in the inning. Nicole Shaw helped herself in the bottom half, by hitting a game tying two-out, two-run double to tie the score at 9. After a 1-2-3 top of the 6th, Carle Place scored 12 runs in the bottom of the inning and Ava Henglein's grand slam broke it open
