West Islip 10, East Islip 9: Maggie Davidson scored off an assist from Jaden Hampel (two goals, three assists) with seven seconds remaining in the game to break a tie at 9 to lead No. 3 West Islip over No. 6 East Islip in the Suffolk B quarterfinals. East Islip tied the score at 9 with a goal from Lindsay Guzzetta off an assist from Hannah Calarco with 27 seconds left. West Islip (11-6) took possession for the winning goal following an offsides. Hampel charged down the field, veered left, circled to the outside and made a pass in the middle six yards out to Davidson. Jillian Caroselli (three goals) scored off an assist from Hampel with 9:47 left to give West Islip a 9-8 lead. West Islip plays at No. 2 West Babylon in the Suffolk B semifinals Wednesday at 4 p.m.
