Francesca Vasile-Cozzo added two goals and two assists and Julie Seifert scored three goals in the win. Mattituck/Southold wins their second consecutive Suffolk D championship. "Its great to be able to execute in a game where we were favored," said coach Matt Maloney. "Sometimes the pressure of the situation could get to a team, but we were able to accomplish what we wanted." "The plan coming in was to limit shots for their better players, and our defense led by Ashley Burns and Alex Beebe, really shined today."
