Olivia Carner scored four goals to lead Northport to a 9-6 win over Ward Melville in a Suffolk I girls lacrosse game Tuesday afternoon. Carol Rose earned her 400th victory with the win. "It's kind of surreal but I'm honored to have the privilege to coach at Northport for the past 29 years and to work with the most awesome, talented and bright athletes," Rose said. "None of it would be possible without them." Northport improved to 8-0.
