Syosset 11, Garden City 10: Kendall Halpern scored her fourth goal with seven seconds left to break a tie at 10 and lead Syosset (3-0) to a comeback win in Nassau I. Garden City, No. 2 team in the nation according to U.S. Lacrosse, led 9-5 at halftime and 10-5 two minutes into the second half. Sofia Afkham (three goals) scored off an assist from Taylyn Stadler (one goal, five assists) with 2:20 left to tie the score at 10. Garden City won the ensuing draw control, but Stadler caused a turnover to set up the final Syosset possession. Goalie Amanda Aleja (nine saves) and Casey Concannon helped lead the Braves defense, which held Garden City to one goal in the second half. Caitlin Cook and Jenn Medjid scored three goals for Garden City.
