HIGHLIGHTS
Garden City 14, Long Beach 2: Katie Muldoon scored five times, and Michaela Bruno and Jenn Medjid each had three goals for No. 1 Garden City in a Nassau B semifinal. Muldoon scored twice in the first seven minutes, as the Trojans (17-1) jumped out to a 4-0 lead. She and Kerry Defliese each won six draw controls. "Getting the draw controls definitely helped," coach Diane Chapman said. "We were able to get the ball down there." Garden City will face No. 3 Manhasset June 1 at Bethpage High School.
