Syosset 9, Farmingdale 8: Morgan Lannig scored her second goal on an assist from Kim McLaughlin with 2:17 remaining to break a tie at 8 and lead Syosset (4-5) in Conference I. Syosset came back from an 8-6 deficit with 8:36 remaining as Katie Igneri scored two goals to tie the game. It was the first victory for Syosset over Farmingdale in at least eight years and the Braves clinched the top spot in the Class A playoffs, according to coach Lauren Lomonaco.
