HIGHLIGHTS

Mepham 10, Calhoun 8: Brianna Caponi and Erin Gilroy each scored three goals to lead Mepham in non-league. Caponi gave the Pirates an 8-7 lead with 8:56 remaining, and Taylor Black (two goals) scored their ninth goal with 5:59 left. Maeve Testa added two goals and Kaitlyn McCleneghan made seven of her 12 saves in the second half for Mepham (6-1). It was the Pirates' first win over Calhoun "in at least four years," Mepham coach Jim Mulvey said. "They're a Conference II team and we're in Conference IV, so it's a big win for us. It's definitely a confidence boost."
