HIGHLIGHTS
Sienna Diglio scored the winning goal off an assist from Juliana Cerasi with two minutes left in the fourth quarter to break a tie at 10 as No. 2 Wantagh defeated No. 3 Syosset, 11-10, in the girls lacrosse Nassau Class C semifinals at Adelphi on Wednesday afternoon. Diglio finished with two goals, four assists and two draw controls and Sabrina Asadurian scored three goals. Cerasi had two goals, an assist and four draw controls and Amanda Coppola made 11 saves. Caitlin Haggerty had six goals for South Side, which finished at 9-7. Wantagh (11-4) advances to play No. 1 Manhasset (11-4) in the Nassau Class C final at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Adelphi.
