HIGHLIGHTS
Islip 11, Huntington 10: Christian Novarro picked up a loose ball at the top of the crease, from 12 yards out, and ripped a low shot home with seven seconds remaining to give Islip (4-3) the win in League III. Joey Panariello tied the score at 10 with 45 seconds remaining. Novarro's first goal, off an assist from Chris Grando, brought the Buccaneers to within 10-9 with 4:55 remaining. Novarro's second and final goal capped a 4-0 run to close out the scoring. Sam Lepore made three of his 10 saves in the fourth quarter to keep Huntington scoreless. The Buccaneers trailed 7-3 at the half and 10-7 at the end of the third. James Rao won 19 of 25 faceoffs, including four-in-a-row late, to help Islip gain possession and seal it.
