East Islip 10, Hauppauge 9: Charlie Heffernan tied the game with 2:53 left to play in the fourth quarter, then scored the winner off an assist from Matt McIntee with three minutes left in overtime to lead No. 4 East Islip over No. 1 Hauppauge in the Suffolk Class B semifinals. McIntee finished with three goals and two assists, Ryan Parker added two goals and an assist and Stephen Coleman won 18 of 24 faceoffs. Kole Lemke scored three goals with two assists and Cole Orehosky made 10 saves for Hauppauge, which finished 14-3. East Islip (13-5) will face No. 3 West Islip in the Class B championship at Stony Brook University on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
