Plainedge 30, West Hempstead 25: Jessica Faranda was involved in four out of five of Plainedge's touchdowns, running for one, passing for one and catching two to lead Plainedge (2-2) over West Hempstead (0-5) in Nassau II. Plainedge led for most of the game, but after two consecutive turnovers, West Hempstead scored a rushing touchdown and the only extra point of the game to go up one with 56 seconds left. After throwing an incompletion to begin the drive, Shannon Williams threw a five-yard pass to Amanda Marinace, who quickly pitched the ball to a cutting Jessica Faranda, who ran down the left sideline past West Hempstead defenders to score the game-winning touchdown. Faranda amounted 54 yards and a rushing touchdown on five carries, threw a 78-yard touchdown reception to Amanda Marinace and had six catches for 127 yards and two touchdowns on offense, but also had an interception and five flags on defense.
