HIGHLIGHTS
Lindenhurst 3, Whitman 2: Anthony Daniello scored the go-ahead run at the top of the eighth, on a sac-fly by Vinny Sottile leading Lindenhurst (9-9) to it's seventh win in eight games and a playoff spot in Suffolk II. Daniello led of with a single and JC Canobbio followed with a single. In the bottom of the eighth, Sal Leto dived for a shoestring catch in right field stopping the tying and go-ahead run from scoring. Leto added two hits. Winning pitcher Pete Manger pitched his third complete game win with five strikeouts, scattering seven hits. Steve Scheuermann, Dom Sarnicola and Justin Ventura each had multiple hits.
