Eastport-South Manor 4, North Babylon 2: Mike McCormick hit a two-run single in the bottom of the fifth inning to lead No. 4 Eastport-South Manor (18-5) over No. 12 North Babylon in the Suffolk AA bracket finals. Ryan Foran went 2-for-3 with a triple, one RBI and one stolen base. Alex Doskoez six and two-thirds innings, allowing one earned run on six hits, striking out seven and walking two. Connor Trace threw out the tying run attempting to steal second base with two outs to end the game in the bottom of the seventh inning, according to coach Jim McGowan. Eastport-South Manor faces No. 9 Connetquot or No. 17 Bay Shore in the best-of-three game semifinals beginning on Wednesday, May 23.
