North Babylon 8, Half Hollow Hills West 2: Brian Primm hit an RBI double in the top of the fifth inning to put North Babylon ahead 2-1 and lead No. 12 North Babylon (14-9) over No. 5 Half Hollow Hills West in an elimination game of the Suffolk Class AA playoffs. Brett Schulteisz had a two-run triple later in the inning. Evan Christopher earned the win, pitching six innings, allowing one earned run on two hits, striking out six and walking one. North Babylon faces No. 4 Eastport-South Manor in the first round on Saturday, May 19 at noon at Eastport-South Manor High School.
