Portledge 17, Avenues (NY) 0: Spencer Kaye struck out five over three innings, and Harrison Della Vecchia struck out two over the final two, throwing a combined no-hitter for Portledge (2-0) in PSAA. "It was a good effort, they threw a lot of strikes and stayed ahead in the count," Portledge coach Glenn Brewer said. "Around the second inning they were cruising. They showed great leadership." Jonah Hirschwerk went 2-for-2 with three RBIs.
