HIGHLIGHTS
Half Hollow Hills East 5, Smithtown West 0: Matt Hogan threw a no-hitter, pitching seven innings, allowing no runs, striking out 11 and walking four to lead Half Hollow Hills East (5-3) in Suffolk III. Jacob Brigati went 1-for-2 with a two-run single in the second inning. Joe Litchhult went 2-for-3. "Usually he's a thrower not a pitcher," Half Hollow Hills East coach Tim Belz said on Hogan's no-hitter. "He just came out and fine-tuned himself and hit locations. He was able to get ahead and use his offspeed pitches for a strike. It was fun to watch."
