HIGHLIGHTS
Roosevelt 20, Elmont 17: Idris Carter went 3-for-3 with three home runs, two walks and four RBIs and also recorded a two-inning save to lead Roosevelt (10-7) in Countywide. Elmont took a 15-8 lead after a 10-run fifth inning before Roosevelt scored seven in the bottom of the inning, including a three on a Jonathan Abreu home run that made the score 16-15. Elmont tied the score in the sixth, but Abreu hit a two-run and scored on a throwing error on the same play to put Roosevelt back in front. Pablo Lopez also homered and John Rosa went 4-for-5 with four runs for Roosevelt.
