HIGHLIGHTS
Garden City 13, Carey 3: Jake Fraher hit the go-ahead single in the top of the 10th inning to break a tie at 3 and lead Garden City (11-6) in Nassau A-I. Mark DiPierro's grand slam capped off a 10-run 10th inning for the Trojans. Billy Duff struck out two over four innings of relief to earn the win. Mike Ruffini hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the fifth for Carey to tie the score at 3. Michael Rasquin went 3-for-6 with three RBIs, and Garrett Going went 3-for-5 with four runs for Garden City.
