The right-hander used a 94 mph fastball and a sharp cutter, according to coach Anthony Frascogna. It was Patchogue-Medford's first no-hitter since 1995 (Jim Schnieder). Vogel threw 93 pitches, 66 for strikes. He walked Joe Maselli in the fourth inning and Keishan Pierce reached base on an error during the seventh inning. Vogel was also 1-for-2 with a three-run home run, and reached base with a walk.
