HIGHLIGHTS
Carey 3, Manhasset 2: Mike Ruffini hit a walk-off single with the bases loaded scoring Garrett Scavelli in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead Carey (4-1) in Game 2 of a Nassau A-I doubleheader. Chris Tile tied the game with a bases-loaded single scoring Kevin Bell in the bottom of the seventh inning. Colby Schmidt hit a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Manhasset on top 2-0. Vic DeNicola scored Chris Oliver with an RBI groundout to second base that cut the deficit to 2-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning. AJ Vincenzi earned the win, pitching a complete game with nine strikeouts.
