McEvoy went 2-for-3 with an RBI double to tie the score at 1. Ken McCadden drove in McEvoy with a single to give Garden City a 2-1 lead. Andrew Nagel allowed seven hits, one walk, one earned run and struck out four in a complete game. Kevin McNiff went 2-for-3. Garden City will face Wantagh in the finals at SUNY Old Westbury Saturday at 11 a.m.
