Thorne scattered six hits, with four strikeouts and two walks for No. 2 Oceanside (17-3-1) in Game 3 of a Nassau AA quarterfinal win against No. 7 Herricks. Dylan Judd was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two stolen bases. Judd, a catcher, also threw out a runner attempting to steal second base. Jake Lazzaro, Austin Vlahakis, and Leo Alvarez each had RBI-singles for the Sailors. John Bono was 3-for-3 for Herricks.
