Hauppauge vs Commack

Commack 7, Hauppauge 6: Cole Sass' two-run single with the bases loaded tied the score at 6 in the bottom of the sixth, and Andrew Chidester's bloop single knocked in Sass to lead No. 2 Commack (20-3) past No. 7 Hauppauge in a Suffolk AA quarterfinal. Jake Krzemienski threw a perfect seventh for the save. Nick Sellitto tripled with two outs and scored on Ryan Mackey's infield hit in the third to give Hauppauge a 3-0 lead. Sellitto also hit a two-run triple in the fifth and scored on Mackey's sacrifice fly. Commack will host Patchogue-Medford Monday.
