Deer Park 9, Northport 8: Mike Downs got a strikeout with two-outs and the bases loaded in the top of the seventh to save the game for No. 5 Deer Park in its Suffolk AA elimination win over No. 12 Northport. Downs entered the game with the bases loaded and one out before picking up the save. Evan Mallon's two-out double down the left field line put Deer Park (16-7) up 9-6 in the sixth and Oliver Tavares went 3-for-4 on the day.
