Calhoun 3, East Meadow 2: Kevin Hannon's two-run single scored Jake Edwards and Anthony D'Anerea to put Calhoun up 3-2 in the bottom of sixth to lead No. 4 Calhoun (14-5) over No. 5 East Meadow in the first game of the best-of-three Nassau AA quarterfinals. Mike Losak allowed seven hits and two earned runs in six innings for the win. Jack Pugliano induced a double play in the seventh to end the game. Game 2 is Thursday at East Meadow.
