Manhasset 6, Clarke 4: Jay Schlaefer allowed no runs, three hits and struck out four over five innings to lead No. 15 Manhasset (13-9) past No. 7 Clarke in the first round of the Nassau A playoffs. Schlaefer also went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored. Manhasset led 6-0 entering the bottom of the sixth inning. Jamie Weiss went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run. Manhasset will visit the winner of Thursday's Carey/Clarke matchup Friday at 4:30 in the quarterfinals.
