Garden City 4, Lynbrook 2: Michael Handal had a two-run double in the bottom of the fifth to put No. 4 Garden City (16-3-1) ahead 3-2 in its Nassau A win over No. 5 Lynbrook. Handal went 2-for-4 with two doubles and Erik Wortmann threw a complete game with five strikeouts, one walk, one earned run and six hits. Garden City advances to the quarterfinals Friday.
