Herricks 7, Baldwin 4: Jonathan Vargas allowed one run in six relief innings to lead No. 7 Herricks (10-7-2) past No. 10 Baldwin in a Nassau Class AA first round playoff game. Coach Rich Bizelia said the Highlanders last won a playoff game in 2006. Michael Lee went 4-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. He and Jordan Chin each knocked in two runs in a six-run fourth inning that gave Herricks a 6-4 lead.
