HIGHLIGHTS
Smithtown West 7, Smithtown East 5: Mike Petagna drove in Nick Sutter for the go-ahead run with an RBI single in the top of the seventh inning to lead Smithtown West (11-7) in Suffolk III. Petagna went 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBIs and three runs scored. Jake Torres went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and gave Smithtown West a 7-5 lead with a safety squeeze with one out in the seventh. Smithtown East tied the score at 5 in the bottom of the fifth. Brian Coffey earned the win.
