"His off-speed stuff was working," coach Jim Moccio said. "He was throwing his curveball and change-up for strikes all day long. He's always a guy who throws a lot of strikes and pitches to contact. Eight strikeouts is a lot for him, so that showed how much his off-speed was working." Jake Giannico's two-out double in the bottom of the sixth drove in Collin Duffy to break a 1-1 tie. Jake Liberatore went 3-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI. Rob Ray went 3-for-3 with an RBI for Bayport- Blue Point (11-8).
