Oceanside 2, Hicksville 1: Bernie Diaz (2-for-3) had a two-out walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth to drive in Leo Alvarez (3-for-4) and lead Oceanside (15-2-1) in Nassau AA-I. Alvarez led off the bottom of the eighth with a double. Dylan Judd's one-out single in the seventh drove Diaz and tied the game at 1. Austin Vlahakis went 3-for-4 for Oceanside and Peter Capel went 2-for-4 for Hicksville. Ryan Powers pitched two perfect innings of relief with three strikeouts to earn the win. Oceanside starter Matt Carey pitched six innings, allowed four hits and one run, and struck out six. Hicksville starter Nick Pathmanathan pitched seven innings, allowed nine hits and one walk, and struck out one.
