Riverhead 5, Whitman 2: Tommy Powers sacrifice bunt in the top of the tenth scored Ryan Lull to break a tie at 2 and lead Riverhead (7-8) in Suffolk III. Chris Jehle added a two-run single later in the inning for the final margin. Peter Panciocco threw 8-2/3 allowing two runs, eight hits and striking out three and Scott Thompson threw the final 1-1/3, including the last out of the ninth with the winning run on third base.
